Who we are
Aussie Wild Nature Discovery is a registered business owned and operated by Ricki Coughlan. I’m dedicated to nature education and conservation and seek to achieve this with bird watching tours, educational courses and workshops for birders, nature lovers and the broader public. I also create and sell interpretive signs and posters.

The nature of the personal information that I collect from you will depend on the circumstances of the collection and the type of service you request from me. For example when you book a course or sign on for tour, I may need to collect personal information from you, such as your first and last name, telephone number and email address, pre-existing medical conditions or perhaps your next of kin details. If you contact me by email, my computer email software will automatically store your email address (but no other personal details). If you contact me by phone your number (but no other personal details) will be automatically recorded in that device.
I may use your personal information, unless you advise me otherwise, to send you notification of updates to my web site and advise you of special offers or events that I think may be of interest to you. If you do not wish your information to be used for any of these purposes, please contact me.

Your contact details will be held in my mobile phone which is secured by password and facial recognition. Other details are stored on my personal computer which is protected by password and finger print access. Access to personal information is limited to myself only. I am strongly committed to safeguarding your personal information and treat it at all times as confidential. I will never divulge any of your personal information, including medical information, to a third party unless you advise me to do so. The only exception to this will be if you are experiencing a medical emergency when on a tour or field trip.
