Little Brown Birds workshop Terms and Conditions of Trade

Terms & Conditions

When purchasing an Aussie Wild Little Brown Birds workshop you are entering into an agreement with Aussie Wild Nature Discovery, also known in this document as Aussie Wild. When you purchase a Little Brown Birds workshop from Aussie Wild you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions of that agreement.

1. Participants agree that Aussie Wild Nature Discovery will deliver a Little Brown Birds workshop according to its advertised content.
2. The Little Brown Birds workshop includes a hard copy of ‘Little Brown Birds of the Sydney Region’.
3. Participants agree that Aussie Wild makes no promise that any particular bird or animal species will be encountered during any Little Brown Birds workshop.
4. Little Brown Birds workshops must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
5. Little Brown Birds workshops are transferrable, but 24 hours notice must be given in writing via email and the new/replacement participant must complete the Little Brown Birds workshop booking form.
6. All participants of the Little Brown Birds workshop must conform to any instruction from your Aussie Wild guide, park Rangers and other park employees regarding safety or interactions with flora and fauna during the workshop.
7. All Particpants must conform to all NSW NPWS rules and guidelines.
8. All participants in the Little Brown Birds workshop must refrain from attempting to handle any wildlife, pick flowers, sample ‘bush tucker’, collect feathers or disturbing any wildlife, including nesting birds or birds feeding their young.
9. Little Brown Birds workshops are conducted on easy trails and walking is at a very slow pace with frequent stops and a break for snacks on the trail. Participants must be able to walk at least 6km.
10. If weather conditions or park closures force a Little Brown Birds workshop to be abandoned another workshop will be planned within 30 days or at a date which fits the participants’ calendars.
11. (i) By paying the Little Brown Birds workshop fee you are indicating that you have read, understand and accept you will be covered by Public Liability insurance for personal accident and injury held by Aussie Wild/Ricki Coughlan when participating in Aussie Wild activities. However none of your personal belongings will be covered by any insurance held by Aussie Wild. By paying a Little Brown Birds workshop fee you are indicating that you understand and accept this too.
11. (ii) Aussie Wild cannot offer any guarantee that your personal belongings wont be lost or damaged during your participation in their field activities. Aussie Wild and Ricki Coughlan accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you might incur in this regard. You accept full responsibility for all of your personal belongings at all times during your participation in all Aussie Wild activities.
12. If for some reason of force majeure (such as pandemic lockdowns, bushfires, floods, etc..) or personal illness or injury, Ricki Coughlan/Aussie Wild is unable to offer a Little Brown Birds workshop, she retains the right to defer the event to a later date or, in extreme circumstances such as permanent injury, cancel the adventure without being held liable to compensation or refund. In the event of any of these occurrences, this will be conducted with the closest possible consultation with participants.
