Please keep phones on silent mode.
Please do not walk ahead of your guide.
Do not approach nests or birds provisioning young.
If a bird freezes it may be stressed. If this occurs I will move the tour on.
Please do not actively attempt to flush birds.
Please do not disturb birds for a ‘better view’ or photograph. We can ‘wait them out’.
Please minimise the use of flash photography.
Playback is not permitted on Aussie Wild tours except in exceptional circumstances such as confirming a rarity or vagrant.
Make space which ensures that everyone gets a good view of the bird.
Please don’t engage in excessive talking or loud conversation.
If we’re birding from cars please don’t slam car doors when exiting the vehicle.
Please don’t attempt to catch, touch or handle any wildlife.
Please don’t pick flowers or attempt to sample ‘bush tucker’.
Please refrain from collecting feathers or other forms of poaching in National Parks.
Keep situational awareness, don’t step backwards off a cliff.
Check where you’re standing: you may be on an ant nest.
If we encounter snakes please give them space and follow my instructions.
Please remain on the trails in National Parks and Reserves.
Smoking is not permitted within any NSW National Park or among our tour group.
We must obey all park signs and directions from Park Rangers and staff.
